About Dr. Holman
Dr. Holman is a duly licensed Clinical Psychologist and Marriage and Family
Therapist. She has been practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area for over
twenty years. She is an expert in treating conditions where there is an
interface between medicine or dentistry and psychology. As well, she has an
extensive general practice helping individuals and families to become more
successful in work, school and their relationships. Dr. Holman received her
undergraduate degree at Stanford University. She completed her doctoral
studies at California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP). While
attending CSPP, for her doctorate she completed her dissertation at the
University of California in San Francisco in the Department of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Holman is active in the professional community holding memberships in a diverse range of organizations reflecting her wide range of interests and expertise. These memberships include the following:

In addition to being a practitioner, Dr. Holman trains psychiatry residents in conducting psychotherapy at San Mateo County Psychotherapy and Recovery Services. As well, she volunteers her time providing pro bono counseling to low-income women with breast cancer at Breast Cancer Connections in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Holman also is an active teacher and lecturer. She is a guest lecturer at UCSF School of Dentistry on topics in Behavioral Dentistry. She also lectures at local and regional dental associations and study groups.
